Cippenham club members and players from other local clubs and leagues thronged to Cippenham on Thursday night for the opportunity to test different bats, courtesy of equipment suppliers Bribar. The response was overwhelming and the Bribar stall had a queue of people waiting to be seen all evening, starting early at 6pm. The Bribar staff made up many bats of differing combinations of blade and rubbers for players to try and did a roaring sales trade. They described the evening as "very successful".
