Summer Grand Prix - 13 August - 17 September 2019

Shae unbeaten, wins title

Shae Thakker won all five weeks that he entered to take the Summer Grand Prix title with ease. The young GB para star was in a class of his own and was largely untroubled. In Shae's absence, week 5 was won by Ricky Hardcastle and Ricky ultimately finished in third place having beaten Bas Mocharrafie for that honour in the last match of the series. Second place overall was taken by Seb Nimier whose consistency shone through, never finishing below third place in the five weeks that he participated.

Run as a great way for Club members to prepare themselves for the new season, the Grand Prix series attracted a fantastic entry of 47 players during the six weeks with an average of 20 competitors each week.
