National Cadet League Day 3 - 8 January 2023

Cippenham A retained their position in Division 1, after winning promotion to the top table in December., by finishing third on the same number of points as Bourne End JSC A but being placed above them on account on winning the match between the two teams. Samuel Wolfenden was the star for Cippenham, winning five of his nine matches throughout the day including all three in the all-important match against Bourne End. Louis  Alexander also won two in this match and another in the 2-7 defeat to Ashford A.

In Division 4, Cippenham B had a difficult time and finished bottom despite beating Bourne End JSC C 5-4 who, nevertheless, finished five points ahead. The crucial match resulted in a 6-3 defeat against Kingfisher C while Kidlington Forum B ran out 7-2 winners. Aarav Seth won four of his nine matches, including all three against Bourne End, while Aryan Sharma and new recruit Arman Hafeez won three each.

Cippenham C finished a respectable second in Division 5, winning two of their three matches. Sai Prasanna Kumar won six of his nine matches while Aairah Hussain had the same average with four wins from six. Ahyan Hussain won four out of nine.
