All three Cippenham teams had a successful day when the National Cadet League came to its seasonal conclusion on Sunday.

Cippenham A, comprising Louis Alexander, Bharath Prasanna Kumar and Samuel Wolfenden won two matches 5-4, including against eventual Division 1 winners Ashford A, but succumbed to second-placed Kidlington Forum A 2-7. Louis played well to win two in all three matches and he was matched by Bharath in the two victories while Sam scored one in each of those two matches.

The B and C teams were both in Division 5 and met each other in the first match of the day. This proved to be a bit of a romp for the B team who won 9-0, setting up a sequence of three 9-0 victories during the day to become the only team this season in any of the divisions to have a flawless record. Congratulations to Sai Prasanna Kumar, playing up from the C team, who was twice player of the match, and to Aarav Seth and Arman Hafeez.

The C team, after suffering defeat to the B team, picked themselves up and won their two remaining matches, 7-2 against Bourne End JSC D and 6-3 against Graham Spicer D. Aairah Hussain picked up the player of the match awards in both those two wins and she was ably supported by her brother Ahyan. Antoremsy Luckshanth also won one in the match against Bourne End.
